Business Case 2 MS Exchange
Description: The customer's contact data are managed in Public Folders of the MS Exchange server. The communication system is an MX-ONE(Aastra) running with SIP-phones. The corresponding name of a caller should appear in the display of these phones as soon the the number is available in one of these MS Outlook contacts fields:
  Mobile Phone
  Business Phone
  Business Phone2
  Home Phone
  Home Phone2

 
Solution: Needs 3 steps in the Power Directory configuration:
  • Add a phonebook of type MSExchange
  • Select the public folder in a treeview
  • Enter the IP-address of MX-ONE's Registrar server

Needs 1 step in the MS-ONE configuration:
  • Modfiy the phone's registrar setting to the Power Directory IP-Address
