Business Case 1 MS Excel
Description: The customer's contact data are managed in an MS-Excel sheet. The communication system (eg. Aastra Intelligate) supports a name search towards a LDAP-server in order to display names on the system phones.
Solution: Needs 3 steps in the Power Directory configuration:
  • Add a phonebook of type MSExcel
  • Select the MSExcel file and select the proper sheet and columns via comboboxes
  • Select the checkbox LDAP-server
